How is Haylen installed? Does it come with cover plates?

Haylen wall lights are wall-mounted with hard wire. Each unit includes a complementary 4'' x 4'' cover plate, which may be optionally utilized during installation. You can view our installation guide here. These wall lights are versatile and can be installed on various wall or panel types.

Please note that the wires are located in the middle of the fixture with sufficient length to reach either end for convenient installation. If additional wire length is required, extending beyond half the length of the fixture, please fill in the contact form for customization options for your Haylen.

Are Haylen lights for outdoors or indoors? Can I installed them horizontally?

The Haylen wall lights are primarily designed for outdoor applications, yet they are also installed indoors by many of our customers. Featuring an IP65 waterproof rating, these lights are protected from showers, rain, or snow, ensuring durability and longevity. 

While many customers acquire multiple units of Haylen to vertically adorn their entryways, some opt for horizontal installation. There are no strict guidelines—feel free to unleash your creativity and arrange them however you desire!

Can I use a remote control to simultaneously manage multiple Haylen lights?

Yes, absolutely! You can use one remote to control all of your Haylen lights. To achieve this, simply refer to the remote control instruction manual where you will find detailed information on the pairing process.

Is Haylen dimmable? Can I replace the LED light if needed?

Absolutely! Our dimmable feature is conveniently managed through the included remote control. Tailor your lighting ambience to match any mood or occasion by selecting from three color temperatures: warm white (3000K), neutral white (4500K), and cool white (6000K). With our latest Haylen upgrade (as of May 15, 2024), enjoy the added feature of a state-of-the-art memory function ensuring your preferred settings are effortlessly recalled every time you power up. 

The LED light band for your Haylen wall light is replaceable. You can purchase replacement LEDs from us, and if you need assistance with the replacement process, feel free to contact us for guidance.

    I have received so many compliments on these lights. They were easy to install and look great. My favorite thing about the Haylen light (besides that it is that it looks great) is that it is accompanied with a remote, offers color options, and has dimmable options. The remote is easy to program and use. I have 4 total Haylen lights and I purchased the 47 inch size in all 4. The cool thing is I only have to use 1 remote to control all 4 lights. That makes it super simple. The remote also gives you the option to change the color of the lights as well as a dimmable function. I always leave the lights on 5000k (daylight) that's my favorite.

    Not ideal for heavily stuccoed, brick or stone surfaces.

    First off, these are really, really beautiful lights. And customer service is quick to respond. Mod lighting worked with me prior to shipping to adjust the electrical placement on the back of the Haylen lights. They come with cover plates (rectangular, the same width of the light) for your existing electrical outlet However, my existing junction boxes were round so they did not cover my outlets. They immediately shipped me bigger cover plates, but neglected to place the screw holes outside of the existing circular junction box that I had sent them a picture of. I emailed them and they told me to just make new screw holes. Ok, but now the plates extend outside of the lights so visually, the whole streamline effect is interrupted by the cover plates. Not very obvious at night. Secondly, the mounting brackets are low profile so if your house is heavily stuccoed or you’re putting these on any brick or stone area you’re going to have to have someone modify the brackets for you.

    Beautiful modern lighting

    We love these modern looking lights. It’s nice you can adjust the color on these. Just two things on the wishlist: it would be nice if the lights were easier to install with older electrical boxes (but it wasn’t hard to install), and a dawn to dusk feature would also be nice.
