How is Haylen RGB installed? Does it come with cover plates?

Haylen RGB wall lights are wall-mounted with hardwire. Each unit includes a complementary 4'' x 4'' cover plate, which may be optionally utilized during installation. You can find the installation guide on our help center here under the "Installation Guides" section. These wall lights are versatile and can be installed on various wall or panel types. 

Please note that the wires are located in the middle of the fixture with sufficient length to reach either end for convenient installation. If additional wire length is required, extending beyond half the length of the fixture, please fill in the contact form for customization options for your Haylen RGB.

Are Haylen RGB for outdoors or indoors? Can I install them horizontally?

The Haylen RGB wall lights are primarily designed for outdoor applications, yet they are also installed indoors by many of our customers. Featuring an IP65 waterproof rating, these lights are protected from showers, rain, or snow, ensuring durability and longevity. 

While many customers acquire multiple units of Haylen to vertically adorn their entryways, some opt for horizontal installation. There are no strict guidelines—feel free to unleash your creativity and arrange them however you desire!

Does Haylen RGB emit standard warm white or cool white colors?

The main design emphasis of our Haylen RGB lights is to offer vibrant multi-color choices, rather than focusing on delivering conventional cool white or warm white illumination. The white hue emitted by the Haylen RGB results from a blend of Red, Blue, and Green, meaning it's not a pure white. If you prefer having a bright cool white (6000K) or warm white (3000K) in the standard version of Haylen, you can explore that option here. 

What color options do I have with Haylen RGB? Are they dimmable?

You can choose a wide selection of seven single colors (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Purple and White) and multi-colors with 358 light effects via the RF remote control (CR2025 battery is required). Additionally, you can effortlessly adjust the brightness of the fixture from 0 to 100% using the remote control. 

Can I control multiple Haylen RGB with one remote control?

Yes, absolutely! You can use one remote to control all of your Haylen RGB lights. To achieve this, simply refer to the remote control instruction manual where you will find detailed information on the pairing process.

    Lights "wow" everyone!

    We really enjoy this product! We love to host, and this gives our backyard the "wow" feature! The only problem we have, is since we indented in the niches, the lights don't all operate with one control. I have to stand more in front of them to get them to change (probably due to the angle when it is inside the niches). Other than that, I do wish it could be done through my phone...and not a remote, but that is OK. We love the product overall!

    Super cool, more like ambient light

    The lights are really cool! They are waterproof (per the website), but there are holes on the side of the housing, and no gasket to seal it to whatever it’s mounted to.

    The lights are on the side of the fixture, not the front. Because of that, it’s not bright. I have 3 4’ lights mounted to the front of my garage, but my driveway isn’t lit up.
