How is Haylen installed? Can I customize Haylen LED wall lights?

Haylen is wall-mounted with hard wire. You can find the installation guide on our help center here under the "Installation Guides" section. Haylen LED wall lights can be installed on any wall type! 

 

Customization Requests: If you wish to customize the color, width (2''/5 cm by default for Haylen sensor version), location of wires (in the middle of the fixture by default), or length of wires (6''/15cm ~ 11''/28cm by default depending on the length you select for Haylen), please reach out to our support at info@mod-lighting.com for more information. Note that customized orders are tailor-made and as a result, they are final sale. 

Note: Haylen is not powered by solar, however, our manufacturer can customize the fixture for you. If you are interested in the Solar Haylen option, you can shop here. 

Is Haylen for outdoors or indoors?

Haylen is designed for outdoor use but many of our customers also enjoy Haylen indoors. Most of our customers purchase Haylen LED wall lights in sets and install them vertically to decorate their entryway, however, many of our customers also install them horizontally.

There are really no rules and you can be as creative as you wish with these LED wall lights! 

Is Haylen waterproof? Can I use it in the winter?

Yes, Haylen is IP65 waterproof, which means the fixture will be protected from showers, rain, or snow! They are designed for outdoor use under warm or cold weather, as well as dry or humid weather conditions! 

Haylen's temperature range is from -45°C/ - 49°F to 65°C / 149°F, the cold/hot weather should not have any impact on the fixture!

Is Haylen dimmable? What's the power consumption?

You can choose the dimmable version with remote control, which will allow you to switch between the three light colors: cool white (6000K), neutral (4500K), and warm white (3000K). With the dimmable version, you can adjust the brightness of the fixture from 0-100% using the remote control. 

If you would rather have single color Haylen, please choose either cool white (6000K) or warm white (3000K). Single color Haylen is non-dimmable. 

Depending on the length of the lights or bulbs, the consumption is different. For example, if you choose 47’’ / 120 cm, the watts consumption is 48W (note: 1W=100Lumens). You can find more details on Haylen under the “Specifications” tab.

How does the dusk to dawn sensor work?

Haylen sensor version works in the way that it will automatically turn on at night and off during the day. It is a light sensor NOT motion sensor.

 

Please note that the Haylen sensor version is slightly narrower than Haylen regular version, since the acrylic portion on the sides (the white portion) will interfere with the sensors. However, we can customize the width of Haylen sensor version, if you wish to increase the width to 3'' or 4''. Kindly reach out to our team at info@mod-lighting.com to inquire the pricing of this type of customization!

    Bought two 59" Haylen Sensor light fixtures for each side of my garage. We are updating the look of our home and those lights DEFINITELY do that! We also purchased a 47" Haylen Sensor light for our patio ceiling. I am happy I made the purchases. I ran into a problem with my porch light order, and I worked with one of their support techs - Michelle - who was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole ordeal. She has the patience of a saint, lol, and I, for one, am very grateful! The outcome is: I am very happy with my Haylen fixtures and the excellent customer service I received from Michelle! Always leery about online ordering, but MOD Lighting was great to work with. Even before I bit the bullet and made the purchases, I had so many questions. They answered all of them to my satisfaction. I would definitely order from them again. (The second picture at night is before we got the new garage doors put on.)
